1lb 316L Stainless Steel TIG Rod

 

ER316 316L is used for welding types 316 and 316L stainless steels.  It has a maximum carbon content of .03% to reduce the possibility of formation of intergranular carbide precipitation.  This low carbon alloy is not as strong as 316H at elevated temperatures. 

Typical Applications:   

• Primarily used for welding low carbon molybdenum bearing austenitic alloys

• Food and Chemical processing 

• Options:

  • 1 16, 3 32, 1 8
  • 1 lb per tube (Crossfire Brand)
  • Rod length is 36

  • Approximate number of rods per 1 lb. pack for each diameter:

    • 1 16 (1.6mm): 24 – 28
    • 3 32 (2.4mm): 12 – 14
    • 1 8 (3.2mm): 8 – 10
